Padaro Beach Grill

Last weekend my Tata (the billionaire) took us all out to dinner at the Padaro Beach Grill in Carpenteria. I really like this place because you get to eat outside and they have a big sand box with lots of sand toys. I ordered my usual, the kids meal Cheeseburger, plain with fries. When they called our number Daddy, Tata and Kelly brought back all our food and this is what mine looked like...

Gummy Candy Burger! Bonus!!

This was the first time that my favorite thing about this burger was the bread. The bread was so good!
The meat and cheese were both good. Juice and cheesy just how I like it. I give it a.....

10!
Man I have been going to good burger places lately! This place was so much fun! And the beach is right there! I really hope I get to go back soon.

Thanks for dinner Tata!

The Forks Resort- Best Burger on the Lake

Even while on vacation the search for the bestest burger goes on!  For dinner one night while vacationing in Bass Lake we always have dinner at The Forks. I love the gift shop, and I love the burgers.

They say they have the best burgers on the lake, and they are not kidding!

I ordered my usual cheeseburger plain and added ketchup. After one bite my Mom asked me what I thought and I said...

"The meat is SOOOO good!"

After a day of swimming and playing with my cousins this burger really hit the spot.

When you get a burger this good, with your favorite people and a view of beautiful Bass Lake, there is no doubt they get a perfect 10!

Grill-A-Burger

When I was little my parents took me to the Grill-a-Burger in Palm Springs. It was one of their favorite places. Then it closed down and my Mom and Dad were totally bummed. Well they just found out that there was still a Grill-a-Burger in Palm Desert.

My parents were so excited.

So here is my burger....

Haha. Just kidding. This is what my Daddy ordered. It is called the Devil's Revenge. It was so spicy that Daddy was hiccuping after just one bite!

So I order the kids mini-cheeseburger plain. When it got to the table I added ketchup. The burger was really small, and the meat was really juice. It came on a hard bread that my Mom said was called "cibatta". I didn't really like the bread. It was too hard. The fries were good too but they had just a little too much salt. I don't like them that way, but Mom and Dad do!

Because of the hard bread I give Grill-A-Burger a.....

You should go just to see the silly gorilla hanging from the ceiling!

This is Mom! Just had to add to this post. Grill-A-Burger is one of my top burger joints. The hamburger's are so amazing and the menu is amazing with choices. If I was rating this place I would give it a 10+!

The Sandwich Stoppe

I found it! The Best Burger in the Pass area.

Don't let the name fool you, The Sandwich Stoppe serves one amazing cheeseburger.

I put in my usual order for a cheeseburger plain with fries.

Big burger, sesame seed bun and lots of cheese.
This burger was juicy and so good and tastes so fresh.
This place gets a

10!

What really makes this place super awesome is this guy here.....

This is Mese and he is a friend of my Daddy and Mommy's and he is a really awesome guy! He is the owner of The Stoppe and is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

So head over to The Sandwich Stoppe at 225 East 6th Street  Beaumont, CA 92223. They just extended their hours for the summer.

Make sure to say hi to Mese and tell him The Phi sent you.

Portillo's

After visiting my Uncle we stopped at Portillo's to see how they measured up in my burger challenge.

I ordered the cheeseburger plain and fries.

I love fries.

Daddy brought me my burger and it came in a Styrofoam container. It was big with melty cheese.
After a few bites I thought the meat was kind of dry. I usually like my burgers juicy and this one was cooked too much.
My Daddy had ordered cheese fries. So I tried dipping my fries in the cheese sauce and it was .

MMMMMMMMM.... so good!

But for the burger I give it a ....

The Hat

First I want to thank Patick T. for the suggestion. He said that The Hat made his favorite hamburger so on Sunday we stopped for lunch.

We went to the Rancho Cucamonga one by the mall. I love the mall.

There was a lot of people so I had to hold a table and my Daddy went up and ordered me a Jr. Cheeseburger. Plain of course. I was kind of worried because I was not too hungry but the burger was a a good smallish size.

This is what my parents ordered.
 Pastrami Chili Cheese Fries!!

After just a few bites of this juicy burger I knew that I would eat the whole thing. It was so yummy! I give The Hat a.....

10!

Another perfect score. This cheeseburger was so good.

Thanks again Patrick! Maybe one day we can have lunch together. At The Hat of course!

Busy Bee Cafe

Last weekend we got to go to my favorite place, Santa Barbara! On the drive down there we stopped in Ventura to have lunch on Main Street. We ended up at the Busy Bee Cafe.

First let me tell you the good parts. The place was very cool. It was just like a 50's diner with squishy red seats and everything.

We should get this sign for our house!

They had cool jukeboxes at every table! For 25 cents you get 2 songs.

Okay on to the burger. I ordered my usual. Cheeseburger plain with potato wedges. Here it was called Jacob's Burger. I don't know who Jacob is or why he gets a burger named after him.

This burger was really cheesy. I do like cheese. And I liked the bread but......

The meat had a burnt taste to it and it ruined the whole burger. Because it tasted burnt I had to give the Jacob's Burger from the Busy Bee Cafe a.....

Gus Jr's

Last week I had back to school night. I was really excited to show my Mom and Dad the stuff I had been doing at school. But before we went we stopped by Gus Jr. for a burger.

I ordered my usual. (Cheeseburger plain). First off when my burger came to me it was the opposite of plain. It had sauce, lettuce, tomato and the worst of all, PICKLES. I hate pickles. So Dad took off the pickles, tomato and most of the lettuce. Strike one Gus Jr.

I was surprised that I liked the lettuce and sauce on the burger. But the burger all together was not that great.

I did not finish the whole thing. I just couldn't do it. So I give Gus Jr. a.....

Red Robin....Yum

My burger challenge lead me to Red Robin the other day. The sign outside said "gourmet burgers", so I thought it would be good stuff.

I ordered my usual cheeseburger plain but this time instead of french fries I went with Mandarin orange slices.

So I started eating and I really liked the meat and cheese. The burger patty was pretty thin but it was still juicy.

I really liked the restaurant. They had cool lights across the top of the tables and we got to sit next to a big bird. I thought it was a chicken but my parents told me it was a Robin. Whatever.

I give Red Robin a......

I would go back to Red Robin, but mostly for the free balloons.

5 Guys Burgers and Fries

5 Guys Burgers and Fries

We headed here on Sunday and I put in my usual order. Cheeseburger plain. When Dad brought the food over he handed me a foil wrapped package and I opened it up to find this.....

That is one ugly cheeseburger.

But Mom and Dad said that just because it doesn't look good doesn't mean it doesn't taste good. So I tried it.

The meat was really juicy, but crunchy at the same time. Dad says its because they grill the burgers. The burger was pretty good with sesame seeds (on a soggy bun) and american cheese. Even though the burger was good, and I ate the whole thing, I gave this place a....

They would have had a higher score but I could not eat any of the french fries because they are cooked in peanut oil. Also this place has open containers of peanuts all over the place. Not fun for me because I am allergic to nuts.

The Great Central Steak & Hoagie Company

The Phi's "Bestest" Burger Search

The Great Central Steak & Hoagie Company- Simi Valley

While heading back home from a few days in Santa Barbara we stopped at my Uncle Tommy's shop. He was up for my Burger challenge and had a plain cheeseburger all ready for me when I got there. This burger came on a sesame seed bun. I liked that! It was also very cheesy. And what made it even better was it was with white cheese. He served it cut in half and that made it easier for me to eat it. And I ate the whole entire thing.

Uncle Tommy's burger has one things that I won't find at any other restaurant......

LOVE

I give the plain cheeseburger from The Great Central Steak and Hoagie a.........

Woody Burger

Phi's Search For the Bestest Burger:

Woody's BBQ , Goleta, Ca

I found a new food that I love. Hamburgers. And now I am on the search for the world's bestest burger. While I was in Santa Barbara visiting my Nana and Tata we went out to dinner at Woody's BBQ and I had the Woody Burger. Plain with cheese. That's how I order all my burgers.

I liked the meat and the potato bread bun. I did not like the french fries it came with. The restaurant was fun and I liked all the cowboy stuff. There is a funny outhouse when you first walk in.

What was really fun was after you eat you get to wash your hands in a bath tub!!
Out of 10 stars I give the Woody Burger a.....

The Best People Ever

I know you think that your Grandparents are the best. BUT my Nana and Tata are really the best people ever. My Tata is a billionaire who can do anything and my Nana is the most beautiful woman and is the nicest person ever. The last time I went to their house they had a whole bag filled with me new clothes for me! It was so awesome. I decided I wanted to make them something super extra special. It took me a few days and I did get a little bit of help from my Mom, but I made them a book.

Yes my first book. It is a true story. Based on true events. The people in my story are real and all the things in the book really happened. Here it is....
